While working on our initial projects, we were presented with the opportunity to design a splendid penthouse for a couple who have since become our friends. Entrusting us with full authority over design decisions, this undertaking was both more challenging & more responsibly demanding as we aimed to deliver nothing short of excellence. Drawing inspiration from their personalities, we endeavored to imbue this space with a blend of contemporary aesthetics and timeless elegance.

We diligently preserved the open, bright, and breezy ambiance of the site while incorporating a minimalistic color palette for interior elements. To infuse a sense of depth and perspective, we introduced vibrant paintings inspired by the renowned artist William LaChance’s creations. Meticulous attention to detail was evident, such as the utilization of printing blocks as handles and art pieces. This approach perfectly encapsulated Kalart 9’s ethos of upholding cultural values and embracing a modern interpretation of vernacular design.

We chose to design each and every elements rather than procuring from any company which is readily available from the market. Whether it’s a simple drawer handle, painting, dining, bench or center table, everything is customized and designed and executed on site. We are thankful to our agencies to make it possible.
