The project is centered around the client’s specified brief, which calls for a design that is both minimal and elegant. The primary material to be used is wood, and the goal is to create design that embody the essence of their cultural heritage, particularly the significance of “Kamdhenu”— the revered holy cow. This belief has deep roots in their parents’ ideology from their village, and it’s essential that this connection to their heritage remains strong even in the urban city environment.
As a result, all aspects of the project, including the choice of artifacts, paintings, and overall design philosophy, are guided by this underlying theme.
While entering the layout of my master bedroom, the idea of an airy and spacious ambiance should be there” guided the design process (from client) . The words ‘airy,’ ‘huge,’ and ‘simple’ served as the foundation for the concept. In pursuit of minimalist, we opted for a sleek-legged bed that derives its stability from a concealed central support cube.
This innovative approach not only provides the necessary structural integrity but also maintains a sense of visual lightness. The floating, uncluttered bed design enhances the overall perception of space, allowing an unobstructed view of the entire floor with just a glance.
